Children will love Bewilderwood, Norfolk's latest treetop adventure attraction, whilst the traditional funfair at Great Yarmouth offers entertainment for all ages and there are local craft shops and an animal farm to explore at Wroxham Barns. Picturesque fishing villages, bird reserves, seal watching boat trips and glorious beaches on the north Norfolk coast are all an easy drive as are the seaside resort of Cromer and the medieval city of Norwich (8 miles) with its cathedral, castle, cinemas, theatre and excellent shopping. We were very impressed with the size, layout and equipment in the cottage. We had a fantastic family weekend celebrating my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. I would thoroughly recommend a weekend or more here. We may come back again when we have another special occassion to celebrate.

Taking a break in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk is the ideal way to explore this atmospheric and historic county. The coastline is the major attraction here, with miles of sandy beaches stretching from historic King’s Lynn all the way round to Great Yarmouth, famous for its Golden Mile and multitude of seaside attractions and entertainments. Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. If you prefer something quieter during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk, try the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers and birdwatchers. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.
The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
